Cedar Blue is a recreational RV park where an average family can own a lake area retreat to come and enjoy the great outdoors. There is no need to reserve a campsite or arrive early for a good camping spot. Best of all it is your place! Cedar Blue is a private community maintained by the Cedar Blue Property Owners' Association. This includes maintaining all the common areas, staffing the park, providing water, sewage and garbage service, maintaining a pool, laundry and restrooms as well as a large water and sewer system with lagoons. All this is done for while trying to hold down the cost of annual and infrastructure assessments. However, these assessments are not enough to do the repairs and provide the maintenance to keep the property in tip top condition. Yes, the Board of Directors could continue to increase the assessments until only those with larger incomes could afford to stay in the Park. But another possibility is that we all take pride in our park and show a little love by rolling up our sleeves or reaching into our pockets to make some improvement to our park that may not otherwise occur.
On this page you will find a list of needs and projects that individuals or groups could take on to improve our park. In order to maintain continuity and to prevent duplication, all those wanting to help by donating items, organizing work groups, or organizing donations of cash to make purchases should work through Tonya in the PARk Office. We will try to list as much information as possible about the items/work needed and will update the information as folks contact the Park office with what they are planning to do.
We have too long ignored the problems thinking that our assessments should be keeping our park in good shape. Our park needs your help. Please show your love for our park by helping in any way you can. Some projects just need to be done. Others may need a bit of organization. Occasionally the Board of Directors or some of committees may need to review and/or approve the plans for improvement.
